How do I remove the T3 application software? |

Before you can uninstall the T3 SecurityKey, you must be connected to internet. Click on Start -> All Programs -> T3 SecurityKey -> Uninstall T3 SecurityKey |

I have lost/misplaced my key. How do I get into my computer? |
|
|
By pressing CTRL-ALT-DEL it will take you to the Login Screen where you can enter the original user name and password you keyed during installation of your T3 SecurityKey. If you have forgotten your login or password and have registered with us or need a permanent replacement for the key, kindly contact us at support@t3key.com. |

Can I get a spare key? |
|
|
No. At the moment one T3 Security key works with only one computer. If you have installed on two computers, it will only work with the last installed computer. |

What are the features of T3 SecurityKey? |

The SecurityKey comes with 4 standard features and an additional 2 bonus features. The 4 standard features are; T3 Security Key, T3 Virtual Vault, T3 Web Access Control and T3 Audit Trail

Can the T3 SecurityKey be installed in more then one pc? |
|
|
No. One T3 SecurityKey comes with one USB security key for one pc, and if installed in a second pc the computer theft icover will be voided. |

What is the T3 SecurityKey? |
|
|
It is a USB security key or dongle which comes with the T3 SecurityKey. Once installed the security key acts as an ignition key to unlock your computer. The benefit of this is to restrict access to the owner of the key. |

What happens to a unsaved document I am working on if I accidentally remove my key? |
|
|
Nothing at all. Once the key is replaced, all documents or files which you are working on will be as you left them before you removed the key. This allows you to leave your pc as you are working without any work or files being disturbed intentionally or unintentionally. |

What If my security key is broken or damaged? |
|
|
Your Security key comes with a one year warranty. In the event it is broken you can contact us at support@t3key.com and we will send you a replacement as soon as possible. In the event your warranty is voided or expired you will be required to purchase a new key which will be configured to match your pc. |

If my Key is broken does this mean I can't access my pc? |
|
|
No. You may still access your pc with your username and password. However you will not be allowed to uninstall the T3SecurityKey or change any of its primary settings. |

I have lost my key, how do I get a replacement? |

Please contact your vendor for replacement key program or you may email us at support@tiss-msc.com to obtain information on how to get a replacement key. |

What is encryption? |
|
|
Encryption in a process where plaintext is converted into cipher text in order to prevent any but the user who has the cipher from reading that data. There are many types of data encryption; T3 Vault uses a AES 256 bit encryption. |

How is the T3 Virtual Vault safe? |
|
|
T3 Vault's AES 256 bit encryption is considered to be among one of the safest encryptions. Even encryption of top secret government data uses a similar 128 or 192 bit encryption. |

What if an unauthorized user logs on to my pc with just my username and password? |
|
|
Even if an unauthorized user logs onto your pc without the security key he will not be able to access the virtual vault. The vault is only accessible when you have the username, password and the USB security key. |

What is the maximum size of the T3 Vault? |
|
|
There is no maximum size. It is only limited by the amount of hard drive space you have. |

Do I have to key in my password every time I access my vault? |
|
|
No. Only when you first enable your vault will you be required to enter your user name and password. You will only have to reenter your user name and password after you log off, restart your pc or remove and replace your USB key. |

|
|
After installing the T3 SecurityKey, you will need to fully register yourself before you can utilize the vault. |

T3 Audit Trail creates a log book which records all access to your computer. |

How does this help me identify inappropriate access? |
|
|
The log book created by T3 Audit Trail, records the time, date and method used to gain access to your computer. With this information you will be able to identify who has accessed your computer. For Example: if you have left your computer in the presence of another, and you have given him/her access to your computer via a password login (safekeeping the USB key yourself), you can discern from the audit trail if he/her has accessed the computer. |

What should I do if my computer is stolen? |
|

Make a police report within 72 hours.
Fill in the online claim form and send it to the theft cover administrator within seven (7) days from the date of loss.
Print the completed claim form and sign it.
Send the completed claim form together with original police report, original purchase invoice, your T3Pro SecurityKey, and copy of other theft cover policy, if any, to TISS-MSC within thirty (30) days from date of loss. |

No. The Internet security solution continues to help you fight off viruses and more. However after the 12 month period, you will need to renew your subscription to continue receiving virus updates for the internet security suite to function at its full potential. |
