  T 3   T H E F T   C O V E R  -  FREQUENTLY ASK QUESTIONS

1. What is T3 Theft Cover?
It is a Theft Cover policy for computers protected by T3 SecurityKey.

2. What is covered by the T3 Theft Cover?
It covers your computer against Theft only.

3. Do I have to pay for the theft cover?
The first Twelve (12) months of the T3 Theft Cover is included within our T3 Security Suite.

4. How do I activate the T3 Theft Cover?
When you install the T3 Security Suite online, TISS-MSC Sdn Bhd will send you an email to advise you to fill in a Theft Cover Activation Form. Send the completed form online to TISS-MSC Sdn Bhd which will then send you your Theft Cover policy number.

5. Can I claim if my computer is stolen overseas?
Your Theft Cover is applicable worldwide.

6. What should I do if my computer is stolen?

i)

Make a police report immediately.

ii)

Fill in the online claim form and send it to the Policy holder within seven (7) days from the occurence of the theft.

iii)

Print the completed claim form and sign it.

iv)

Send the completed claim form together with original police report, original purchase invoice, your insured's T3 Security key, and copy of other Theft Cover policy, if any,and any detailed proof and particulars as may be reasonably required by Allianz General Insurance to TISS-MSC Sdn Bhd within thirty (30) days from date of loss.

8. Are claims approved in Malaysia?
The policy is underwritten by Allianz General Insurance Company (Malaysia) Berhad in Malaysia and is therefore subject to Malaysian law and practice.

9. In what currency will claims be paid?
In US dollars, or in local currency according to the exchange rate at time of loss.

10. How much is the claim settlement?

1st year of purchase

USD1,500 or 95% of original purchase value, whichever is lower

2nd year of purchase

USD1,200 or 70% of original purchase value, whichever is lower

3rd year of purchase or thereafter

USD 1,000 or 40% of original purchase value, whichever is lower


11. How long does it take for a claim to be approved?
Within 14 (fourteen) days if all necessary documents have been received.

12. Do I have to bear any excess or deductible?
None. If the approved claim is USD1,500 , you will be paid the full amount.

13. If I wish to renew the policy, what should I do?

i)

TISS-MSC Sdn Bhd will send you a renewal notice before the Theft Cover expires.

ii)

You can renew the Theft Cover before the expiry date, or within 14 (fourteen) days after the expiry date.
